What is a poncho, or what does a poncho mean? I guess the more important question would be: what would make a poncho important?

One day a guy gave me a poncho. He was nice, cute and I felt the kinda butterflies that always scare me 'cause you never know what those butterflies are going to do. A poncho. It's always a stupid poncho.

Let's see...a child is consumed by a father who is at the mercy of drugs and alcohol due to his own demons and the child has a distinct impression of all that it does to a person. The child might never know what the drug does. Sometimes, it feels as if drugs are the most fun in the world and is safety. However, the child will then be taken away from their parents and then be raised at the mercy of foster care. Sure, I'm sure the system means well, but damn is it messy.

See, why is this fucking poncho so damn important? Why does this writer just simply state the poncho without going into more details? Because sometimes a poncho means you have an awesome night with folks who are doing dangerous things but it's that mystified feeling you had and maybe it was that the poncho meant that something could happen, when in fact all that night really should be was just a nice night....a night where you could just chill and relax without worrying about anything else.

She wanted to stay with them, but she couldn't. All she could do was watch them from afar as her heart was threatening to give out. Her breathing was more heavy and her chest felt tight as she sees her two lovers love eachother. Why couldn't she be there with them? Why couldn't she be apart of the soul bond that they shared? Why did she have to be always on the outs?

They've been together long before you, some would say. So why was it that they'd say that she was included? That there was no hierarchy?
